Missing Peace engages a rotation of physical activites, spiritual practices, cerebral engagements, and service projects to create peace in ourselves, our families, our community and our world. However, once in a while, we interrupt our regular rotation for special events and projects.
This summer we are putting our normal rotation on hold while we focus on a Summer of Serving. We’ll meet a couple of times each month and work on different service opportunities. Next up, a park clean up.
July 21 be the date of the Park Clean Up at Samuel L. Butts Archeological Park.
750 Bellevue Road Daytona Beach 32114. Come out and explore park you’ve probably never been to learn something about the area and help this Volusia park some.
We are using free tickets to help us get a better headcount for the event, insure we have enough supplies for everyone and to maximize the use of our time at the event. If you feel compelled to donate to Missing Peace, to help offset the cost of this or any of our other charitable works there is a donation ticket as well.
We hope it will be a meaningful and uplifting experience to serve all summer long. Join us as often as you can, and be a part of making a difference.
What to bring: water and sunscreen. We will bring the gloves and trash bags. Suggested donation: $20/family (ormondsmissingpeace.com/donate)
